How many photos can we expect from our day?

You can expect between 75 and 100 photos for every hour of coverage. Things that will affect this number are things like travel time (we’re not taking photos while we are travelling between venues!) and meals (photos of people eating don’t tend to be very flattering!).

Do our friends and families have to pay to download images from our wedding image gallery?

Absolutely not! Once your gallery is ready, we will send you a password which allows you to view and download your images. You can choose to download your favourite images or the entire gallery, and so can anyone you choose to share your gallery password with. It couldn’t be easier to share the images from your day, without anyone having to remember a USB.

Why would we need two wedding photographers?

Having two photographers not only means that you can have coverage of both the bride and groom getting ready, but also allows you to have two different but supporting viewpoints of your wedding day.

We would love to book Lara Lane Photography for our wedding – what next?

Once you have established that we are available for your date (that’s as easy as asking – just send us an email or instant message), let us know that you are interested in booking and we will send you through a contract. If you’re happy with the terms, sign it and send it back. Then once you have paid your deposit, you are booked in and we are ready to go.

What do we do at our pre-wedding consultation?

It’s really up to you as to how you would like to use the consultation. It’s not just a great chance for us to get to know each other, but also an opportunity to ask questions about all aspects of your wedding day. We attend a lot of weddings, so we are pretty familiar with all sorts of things that can make your day run smoothly for a stress-free celebration, as well as things that you can do to make sure you get the kind of images you want. It’s a great time to talk about your wedding day timeline, or if you’re getting married in Brisbane, to have a look at your venue together.

How long will our wedding image gallery be available on your website?

Your wedding image gallery will be available for three months from the time that we put it up. Plenty of time to view, download and share.

We had so much fun at our wedding… when will our images be ready??

We had heaps of fun photographing your wedding! And we want to make sure that your wedding photos are the best they can possibly be. Unfortunately, it takes time to go through each image and make sure that it is the best it can be. We will have your images to you in six to eight weeks.

We have our images and we love them so much we want to display them in an album. Is it too late to order an album through you?

Absolutely not. You can order a beautiful, high-quality album through us whenever you are ready. We believe that the images from your day deserve to be displayed in a true-colour, tactile presentation that can be paged through and passed down for years to come. Better than Facebook!

How much deposit do we have to pay? What are your payment terms?

A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure the date. Another 35% is payable two months before the date, and the remaining 35% two weeks before your big day. We will send out invoices to help remind you of your final two payments because we know you’ve got a lot to think about.

Our other vendors would love some photos of our day to share on their social media. Can we give them the password to our gallery or share photos with them in some other way?

Please direct your wedding vendors to us. We would be happy to share carefully selected images with them in their own special gallery.
